HAPPYLAND

Created as a graduate thesis project in 2016 by Til Lalezar Theatre founders Vida Tayebati, Tone Haldrup Lorenzen, and Grace Booth, HAPPYLAND pits the immigrant poet against the American wrestling giant and madness ensues. A love story.

“Happyland is part poetry, part reality show, part Alice in Wonderland meets The Addams Family by way of Cabaret, and a whole bundle of fun.” ~North Coast Journal

Role: Co-Creator and Performer

Performed in 2016 at the Carlo Theatre in Blue Lake, CA and in 2017 at the Shea Theatre in Turners Falls, MA.
