TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Transparency, Empathy, Accountability, and Dialogue; these acts form the basis of my teaching pedagogy. I create an environment in which my students and I act as collaborating artists, each with their own expertise and authority via their own experiences, identities, affiliations, and modes of expression. My project-based workshops and courses teach skills through direct application, offering students practical performance tools with clear direction on how these tools can be further developed within and beyond the classroom.
